Is Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra Worth It?

Before we ask if it’s worth it, let’s start with what is it ? Gtechniq Crystal Serum Ultra is a 9 year ceramic coating that comes with Gtechniq Guarantee. If you properly maintain the coating and it were to happen to fail, Gtechniq would have it installed again as part of their guarantee at no cost to you!

On the hardness scale it ranks at a 10h, it lasts for 9 years (with proper maintenance) and provides unmatched gloss, slickness, and chemical / swirl resistance. After having installed this on quite a few careers, from experience we can say that it’s crazy how much gloss the coating does add. When we wash cars with Crystal Serum Ultra coating, its crazy how well it beads / repels water. Not to mention when we wash it microfiber wash mitts, it is extremely slick. I’d imagine if you leaned on your car you might just slip off (but don’t do that, we don’t want you to swirl the paint).

Now the question is, is it worth it? If you have a 2 year lease on a car then maybe not, but if you have a car that you plan to keep for a while then I’d certainly go for it. Why not provide your car’s paint with (in our opinion) the best protection? UV rays will damage paint over time, so let’s prevent that with a coating!
