You want your car to look good, so you do what you can to keep it looking fresh. Maybe you wash it every week. Maybe you wax it every month. Maybe you want

An easier way to keep your car looking great and your wondering what is ceramic coating? Is it worth it? If you look at your car as more than a means of getting front point A to point B then the answer is yes!

Ceramic coating is a layer of protection added to your paint. The chemical compound is SiO2 or silicon dioxide. It produces a 9H hardness, which is the highest hardness that is verifiable on the hardness scale. It makes your paint more slick and adds depth and clarity to the paint. It makes it POP!

The main benefits of ceramic coating on cars is that it enhances the paint gloss. It makes your paint resistant to bird droppings, tree sap and stains. It adds hydrophobic properties so that water beads up and easily come off your car. It also makes it easier to clean your paint. If you frequently clean your car you may be able to simply rinse the car, give it a foam bath and rinse the foam off without agitating. (Obviously if you car is a lot more dirty then your average car it may need some agitating).

There are so many ceramic coating options, how do you know which one is right for you? Ask yourself some questions. Do you own your car or lease it? If you own your car, how long do you plan on keeping it? Based on that you can decide which ceramic coating you want based on how many years you plan on keeping your car.
